jackie melerski: I really started many years ago at the tender age of 5, when I created my first stuffed animal of my own design, a pink pony. From that first creation , I began making many more stuffed animals, from ponies, dogs, monkey's possum's and look a likes, from peoples pets. I then attended my first ever art show when I was 12, with my stuffed creations, when I called myself..lovable huggables!! Around 15 yrs of age, I designed my first movable bear...and gilmur rudley teddy bears were born! I came up with this name from my love of hockey(gilmur..name of a player) and my love of horses(rudley...the name I choose as a little girl for my first horse, which I got at 29!) Since then I have been creating and designing antique and whimsical themed bears from my farmhouse studio. I truly love what I do..This has been a God given gift that allows me to create from my heart by my hands to pass to your hands and your hearts. thank you!!! jackie melerski
